The illegal drugs trade in the UK generates about £8.5bn

Last year a 19 year old girl who told her father she was going to Tenerife was arrested at Heathrow airport with 1.5k of cocaine in her suitcase she was jailed for five and a half years. The young girl had flown to Gambia and became one of the latest drug mules for the West African drugs trade. A 27 year old man on a London flight from Jamaica died when one of the cocaine capsules he had swallowed ruptured inside of him and uncontrollably seeped through his body he was dead before the plane landed all in the name of drug trafficking.
